Horse Photography - Vintage Photograph from the Crum Family collection. These horses belonged to JY Crum, a rancher who was located in Weatherford, Texas. A TCU alumnus, born in Pecos, Texas -- rumor has it he was also a descent fooball player, having played for TCU during his short stint there during the 1930s.

This vintage horse photograph beckons memory of the wide open West country, sunlit dust and a big texas sky. This iconic scene is captured in a timeless Western photograph from the late 1940s-early 1950s. There are several other JY Crum photographs on the website and make for a great series when displayed together.
