The tone of the print borrows heavily from late, great pop artist legend Andy Warhol.
We began making the pop art series in 2015 and the response has been incredible. Carl is a native Austinite and began photographing its signs and landmarks in the late 1980s as a high school art project. His wife Betsy is a born and raised Texas girl. They currently reside in Fort Worth with their two daughters, 2 dogs and cat. As a husband and wife team, we have an extensive collection of Texas signs and landmarks, if there is something you don't see, just ask and we probably have it.
This museum print is produced on 100% acid-free cotton heavyweight paper using archival pigment inks. Each print is signed by the artist.
Matted prints are shipped flat. Unmatted prints are shipped rolled in a tube.
