Dog Art & Dog Prints With Personality
This collection gathers all of our dog art in one place — Cavalier King Charles spaniels in poppies, circus-poster greyhounds, party-hat chihuahuas, tattoo-flash pups in hot pink, cottagecore Staffordshire mantle dogs, and one very dignified shadow puppet. Bright palettes, graphic compositions, and pop-art energy give each breed its own visual personality — sometimes preppy, sometimes mischievous, always full of life.
These dog prints blend colorful pop art with classic dog-lover appeal, so they work in modern rooms, eclectic gallery walls, nurseries, and entryways alike. If you're shopping for dog wall art as a gift, a print from an original painting lands differently than anything mass-produced — it's the gift for the person whose dog is on their phone lock screen, their holiday card, and probably their couch.
The Chihuahuas, and the Cowboy Cavalier
Chihuahuas get more wall space here than any other breed, which surprises no one who has met one. Edith Dare, the party hat, the pen-and-ink sketch, the Vienna sausage — four completely different treatments of the same small opinion. And then there is the Smoking Cowboy Cavalier, who came out of the same series as the western art and hangs perfectly well beside an actual cowboy. Edie the rodeo dog belongs to that side of the house too.
All dog art prints are created by the Crum family and printed to order from the original paintings and drawings.
Dog Art Questions
What breeds appear in this dog art collection?
Chihuahuas, greyhounds and whippets, Cavalier King Charles spaniels, Staffordshire mantle dogs, and a rotating cast of good dogs with real character — including Edie the rodeo dog.
What style is this dog artwork?
Colorful pop art with playful, slightly preppy styling — bold color and graphic composition that gives each portrait a lively, modern feel. Some lean cottagecore, some lean tattoo-flash, all are original.
Do dog prints make good gifts?
They're one of our most-gifted categories — the print outlasts the mug, the calendar, and the tote bag.
Can I get a print of my own dog?
These are the studio's own dogs and characters rather than commissions, so the trick is finding the one that looks like yours. People usually do — the chihuahuas alone come in four different moods.
Every dog here began as an original painting or drawing by the Crum family. Est. 1996.
Good dogs deserve wall space, and so do their rivals — see cat art for the opposition, horse art prints and cow art for the bigger animals, chinoiserie animal prints for the blue-and-white set, and cottagecore wall art for where the Staffordshire pairs usually land.
