This comes out of Caya's found-object run. She hunts the back walls of resale shops for the paintings nobody claimed — earnest, anonymous, one donation away from a dumpster — and paints a saying straight across the front. It is not restoration and it is not mockery. It is a second life — somebody's earnest Sunday painting, picked up and handed a second act by Caya Crum. The originals go about as fast as she can make them, which is the only reason these exist as prints.
As upcycled art it belongs in an entry, a kitchen, or a studio — anywhere a room could use two words of encouragement. It reads from across the room in about a second, which is the entire job of quote wall art.
