A pair of cowboy boots patterned top to toe in blue-and-cream chinoiserie floral — navy blooms and vines winding over ivory "leather," navy tops and pulls, crisp navy piping tracing every seam like a steady hand. They stand together on a plain ivory ground, square and self-assured, no scenery required. This is cowboy boot art the way a porcelain painter would have done it: pattern first, swagger fully intact.
They're also the odd one out in our blue-and-white barnyard.
