Pumpkin Painting Party

An afternoon of painting pumpkins the Crum Art way — vintage-inspired, hand-painted pumpkin decor that went home with its painter the same day. Caya Crum walked the table through it step by step, from base coat to the last little detail.

Each spot included the pumpkin, paint, brushes and two hours at the studio table with the artist.

Smoking Cowgirl Portrait Workshop

Everyone painted their own take on Caya Crum’s Smoking Cowgirl — pink hat, big sky, a little attitude — and no two came out alike. Caya took the table through it step by step, from the sky and the hat brim to the last flick of the eyes, so first-timers finished a portrait they were proud to hold up.

Boot Painting Workshop

A full table of pink canvases and a lot of laughing. Everyone picked a pair of boots from the reference sheets, blocked them in, then dressed them up their own way — bows, stars, roses, polka dots, a little glitter — with Caya Crum walking the table the whole two hours. Fourteen painters, fourteen very different pairs of boots, and everyone went home with an 8 x 10 they painted themselves.

All supplies included.

Workshop questions

Do I need any painting experience?

No. Every workshop is built for beginners — the artist walks the whole room through it step by step, and there is plenty of one-on-one help. If you paint already, you’ll have room to run with it.

What is included in the price?

Everything you need for the project — the surface (for the Pumpkin Painting Party, the pumpkin), paint, brushes and instruction — plus what you make. There is nothing extra to buy or bring.

Where are the workshops held?

At the Crum Art studio in Fort Worth, Texas, the same studio the prints ship from. The exact address and parking notes are emailed to everyone who reserves, the week of the workshop.

How do I reserve a spot?

Pick the number of spots, add the names attending if you know them, and check out like any order on the site. Nothing ships — your receipt is your ticket. Spots are limited to the number of seats at the table, so they can sell out.

Can kids come?

Each workshop lists its age range on its card — most are teens and up. When a workshop is open to younger painters, they come with an adult who also has a spot.

What if I can’t make it after all?

Text 817-965-0169 as soon as you know. Your spot can go to a friend in your place, and if there is a later workshop we’ll do our best to move you to it.

Do you do private painting parties?

Yes — birthdays, showers, team outings and small groups. Email info.crumart@gmail.com with your date, headcount and what you’d like to paint, and we’ll put a party together.
