Willie Nelson Mugshot — Pop Art by Betsy Crum
Willie's famous mugshot, repeated four ways across a field of red — orange, black-and-white, teal, and crimson — with the POLICE DEPT DALLAS TEXAS placards intact, the Abbott water towers ghosting through the background, and bold yellow brushstrokes tying the whole rap sheet together. Betsy reworks a familiar image into collage pop art built for a bar, a music room, or a gallery wall with attitude.
Where the Wanted Poster is folk-art and hand-drawn, this one is loud, layered, and modern. Same outlaw, different indictment.
Where It'll Work in Your House
That red demands a bar, a man cave, a music room, or the boldest slot on a gallery wall. It's our conversation piece for the fan who knows the whole story — and a great gift for the Willie superfan who already owns the records and the bandana.

Complete the case file: the Wanted Poster, Saint Willie, and the greatest-hits cassette all hold court in Willie Nelson wall art.

Product FAQ
What was Willie arrested for in 1974?
Let's call it botanical possession, in Dallas. History has ruled in Willie's favor, and the mugshot became a founding document of outlaw country.
What room wants a mugshot on the wall?
Bars, man caves, and music rooms — anywhere the story gets told better with a visual aid.
Mugshot or Wanted Poster — which do I get?
The Wanted Poster is hand-drawn folk art; the mugshot is loud modern pop. Same outlaw — fans of the whole story hang both.
Why is Abbott in the background?
Abbott, Texas is where Willie's story starts — Betsy ghosts the little town's water towers behind the booking photos so the beginning and the legend share one frame.
Will this look like an original painting or a print?
Crum Art takes the scanning and photographing of original paintings seriously — we work to capture the texture of the canvas or paper the original was created on, so that texture shows through in the print. Combined with the cotton rag paper’s own subtle surface and the hand-signing, many customers say they cannot tell if it’s an original or a print. That’s intentional. These are not flat digital reproductions — they are fine art prints that carry the soul of the original.
What sizes does this print come in?
Our fine art prints are available in standard rectangle and square sizes. Rectangles: 8x10 unframed matted to 11x14, 11x14 unframed, 16x20, 18x24, and 24x36. Squares: 8x8 unframed matted to 12x12, 12x12 unframed, 16x16, 20x20, and 24x24. Each size ships ready to frame, making it easy to find the right fit for your wall.
How do I make a gallery wall with art prints?
Start with an anchor piece and build outward — many Crum Art prints are part of series designed to group together as a statement gallery wall, or hang individually as standalone pieces. Since every image is sized to fit standard frames, mixing sizes is easy: lay the arrangement out on the floor first, keep about two to three inches between frames, and center the whole grouping at eye level.
