This one's painted straight off the cooler shelf — rows of Big Red bottles lined up on warm yellow shelving, the colorways trading places down the line: classic red, then cream, then yellow, then red again. Warhol had his soup cans; Texas has Big Red. There are enough bottles here that you stop counting and start grinning, which is the whole point. Big Red is the Texas soda — a Waco original, inseparable from barbecue smoke for generations. Betsy paints it the way Texans actually meet it: cold, plural, and glowing behind glass. Why is Big Red a Texas icon?
It was invented in Waco in 1937 and became the drink Texans reach for alongside barbecue and weekend barbacoa. San Antonio thinks enough of that pairing to hold a festival for it.
What does the Warhol reference mean?
Andy Warhol painted repeating rows of Campbell's soup cans in 1962 and made a grocery item worth looking at. This one gives the same treatment to a soda most Texans already regard as a landmark.
Is the format vertical or horizontal?

How do I make a gallery wall with art prints?
Start with an anchor piece and build outward — many Crum Art prints are part of series designed to group together as a statement gallery wall, or hang individually as standalone pieces. Since every image is sized to fit standard frames, mixing sizes is easy: lay the arrangement out on the floor first, keep about two to three inches between frames, and center the whole grouping at eye level.
