Just the crest of the Texas Star rises from the bottom edge of the frame: a clean black arc of thin spokes, a string of little gondolas, and small letters spelling TEXAS riding the curve like they paid extra for the good seats. Everything above is open white — no midway, no crowd, not even a cloud. Betsy drew the wheel the way Dallas actually sees it most days: the top sliver over the trees, promising the rest is down there somewhere.
The restraint is the piece. One line does the work of a whole fairground, and all that space above gives the wheel somewhere to go.

What is the Texas Star?
The 212-foot Ferris wheel at Fair Park in Dallas, turning at the State Fair of Texas since 1985 — for years the tallest Ferris wheel in North America. If you've ever spotted a glowing arc above the Dallas trees in October, you've already met it.
Why is so much of this print empty white space?
Because the drawing is about looking up. The bare space above the arc gives the wheel room to rise and gives your wall room to breathe — minimalism isn't what's missing, it's what's left on purpose.

How do I make a gallery wall with art prints?
