What is bronc riding?
It's the rodeo event where a rider tries to stay aboard a bucking horse for eight seconds, one hand on the rigging and the other in the air. Eight seconds doesn't sound like much until you're the one doing the counting.
Why did Caya Crum give the rodeo a hot-pink sky?
Because Texas skies don't do subtle, and neither does Caya Crum. The hot pink, red, and teal palette paints the way a rodeo evening feels — all heat and spectacle — rather than the way a camera would report it.
