He's a Native cowboy, and if that catches you off guard, it shouldn't — the West never looked just one way, whatever the movies told us. Caya paints it closer to how it really was.

What is Tex wearing?
An orange shirt and a white hat, with two long black braids tied off at the ends with turquoise ribbons. The ribbons are small enough to miss on a first look and impossible to unsee afterward, which is exactly how Caya Crum meant them.
Is Tex a Native cowboy?
He is, and it is deliberate. Native, Black and Mexican cowboys worked the same country as everybody else. The movies narrowed the picture down to one kind of man, and Caya Crum paints it back out again.
What color is behind him?
A deep saturated green, flat the whole way across with nothing in it at all. Set against an orange shirt that is about as much contrast as two colors can carry, which is why he holds a wall on his own.
Where does Tex belong in a house?
Over a desk, in an office or a den, or at the centre of a gallery wall where everything else can arrange itself around him. He is also a safe pick for the man who would never choose art for himself but will certainly have opinions about what you chose.

How do I make a gallery wall with art prints?
Start with an anchor piece and build outward — many Crum Art prints are part of series designed to group together as a statement gallery wall, or hang individually as standalone pieces. Since every image is sized to fit standard frames, mixing sizes is easy: lay the arrangement out on the floor first, keep about two to three inches between frames, and center the whole grouping at eye level.
