Nothing inspires more than Texas music and the words of those musicians. Stevie Ray Vaughan is an excellent example of this. Born and raised in Oak Cliff, whose guitar playing unleashed emotions across the world. By his own admission, he had his demons - but he did not let them over come him. A man of words and inspiring words they were. There is a simplicity to this quote that is so sad and so real, it is immediately humbling. A man of huge talent, still trying to learn who he is. Masculine, meaningful and inspirational. Even Stevie Ray would wake up and possible wonder, "what in the hell am I doing here? Who am I?" Like Socrates said, "The unexamined life is not worth living." Stevie Ray Vaughan knew how to tell a story, with words, with his guitar, but more importantly, he knew how to live a life and was examining his trajectory.

Bottom line, great gift for the thoughtful Texas music lover who enjoys blues and deep cuts.
