A drive-in lasts more than fifty years on hamburgers, not on nostalgia. The nostalgia shows up later, on its own, and by then the sign has quietly become a landmark without anybody voting on it. Betsy painted it under a big Texas sky, which is how everyone actually sees it. Dazed & Confused put it on a screen, but the sign was already the sign long before the movie got there.

How do I make a gallery wall with art prints?
