The print is a weathered Texas silhouette filled with the flag — dusty blue, cream, faded brick red, a five-point star rubbed soft — on a chalky, scraped-plaster cream ground, under heavy black wood-type capitals. It reads like something that has hung in a house for thirty years, which is roughly how long the average family here has been making the same drive. Highway 6 stitches the place to Bryan, two towns that stopped pretending to be separate a long while back. On a fall Saturday the color of the day is maroon, in every window and on every porch, and the traffic on Wellborn Road stops being traffic and becomes a slow parade. You can hear the stadium from a parking lot half a mile off. Northgate empties out in July and refills in a week. The whole town runs on a calendar that starts in August and ends with people crying in a parking garage in May.

Is this an official university product?
No. It is independent artwork about the town of College Station, with no university affiliation, licensing, logo, or endorsement of any kind.
Is this a dorm wall print or a family hallway print?
It starts on a dorm or first-apartment wall in August and tends to end up in the parents' hallway a few years later. It survives both rooms.
When does it get bought?

How do I make a gallery wall with art prints?

Since every image is sized to fit standard frames, mixing sizes is easy: lay the arrangement out on the floor first, keep about two to three inches between frames, and center the whole grouping at eye level.
