Fort Worth Department of Personal Baggage — Green Canvas Boat Tote

Everyone has some. This is the official bag for it. A soft cotton canvas boat tote in deep green, printed with the seal of the Fort Worth Department of Personal Baggage — a civic office that does not exist but probably should. It is the funny boat tote for the friend who moved away, the therapist who has heard it all, the mom who carries everyone else's, and anyone who can take a joke to the farmers market.

The bag is a soft boat tote — the relaxed cousin of the stiff preppy kind: thick 100% cotton canvas, wide flat straps that sit on the shoulder, a boxed bottom, and room for groceries, a laptop, a stack of prints or a weekend. The print is a one-color screen on the front so it reads from across the parking lot.
