Fort Worth is the longhorns coming down Exchange Avenue twice a day past people holding phones, and the smell of the Stockyards that nobody apologizes for. It is Joe T.'s patio in April, the Kimbell's concrete vaults holding light better than buildings twice their budget, and the Trinity running low and brown between the bluffs. Thirty miles from Dallas and not remotely the same town. The colors on this one are worn down on purpose — a flag that has been on a barn, not in a box.
It works in an entry, a den, or a kitchen. There is more of the city in Fort Worth art, and it hangs naturally with the western wall art.
