Betsy Crum gives the Miller High Life can the treatment it has always believed it deserved. The cream can with the red soft-cross label, "ESTD 1903" up top, "The Champagne of Beers" in script below — all painted straight, then traced in a glowing cyan halo against a deep teal ground. It's neon-sign logic applied to a beer can: vintage bar art that hums like the window of a good roadside tavern without drawing a single watt.

Why is Miller High Life called the Champagne of Beers?
The nickname is over a century old — High Life's lively carbonation and fancy clear bottle drew champagne comparisons early on, and Miller wisely never let go of it. Betsy paints the script slogan right where it belongs, under the label.
What's with the cyan glow around the can?
That's the neon-sign treatment applied to a painted can — a bright cyan halo tracing the cream-and-red can against deep teal. You get the after-dark bar-window effect without needing an outlet.
Does a Miller High Life print belong in a garage bar?
It's happiest at eye level over a bar cart, in a garage bar, or holding court in a man cave. Anywhere a cold one gets opened with a little ceremony.
