Liquid Paper Office Wall Art by Betsy Crum

Liquid Paper was invented by Bette Nesmith Graham, a Dallas secretary who mixed the first batches in her own kitchen in 1956 — tempera paint, an old blender, and a lot of trial and error. Her son helped fill bottles as a kid. That son grew up to be Michael Nesmith of The Monkees. So somewhere in there is a genuine only-in-Texas fact: the correction fluid on every desk in America and a 60s pop star share the same kitchen table. That's a better origin story than most objects hanging on most walls can offer, and frankly it's a little weirdcore all on its own. Betsy paints the bottle as pop art, an icon rather than a supply-closet item, because for a couple of generations that is precisely what it was.

It is the rare piece of office wall art that is actually about offices. Put it over a desk, in a study, or in a home office where everything else in the room is serious.
