Every other cowboy Caya has painted looks you right in the eye. Cash doesn't. He's turned to the side, chin up, smoke drifting off toward the edge of the picture — pale pink hat, red bandana, gold shirt, and behind him a blue sky with one long pink cloud sitting over the water.
It changes what the painting is about. You stop reading his face and start wondering what he's looking at. He's the calm one, and the only one of them with water behind him.

Because he faces off the edge of the frame, he's lovely at one end of a gallery wall — he points your eye back into the rest of it. Which way is Cash facing?
To one side, in profile, chin lifted, with the smoke drifting off past the edge of the canvas. He is the only cowboy in Caya Crum's series who does not meet your eye, and the whole painting turns on it. Instead of reading his expression you end up following his line of sight out of the frame.
What is Cash wearing?
A pale pink hat, a red bandana at the throat, and a gold shirt. The pink hat is the detail nobody catches from across a room and everybody grins at up close.
What is behind him?
Blue sky with one long pink cloud lying across it, and water underneath, painted flat blue with a scatter of darker marks in it. He is the only cowboy in the series with water in the picture. Whether it is a lake, a stock tank or the Gulf is left up to you.
What room does Cash suit?
Rooms where you want western in the mix without it running the place. He sits well over a sofa, a console or a dining sideboard, and because his gaze leads off to one side he makes a natural bookend at either end of a gallery wall.

How do I make a gallery wall with art prints?
Start with an anchor piece and build outward — many Crum Art prints are part of series designed to group together as a statement gallery wall, or hang individually as standalone pieces. Since every image is sized to fit standard frames, mixing sizes is easy: lay the arrangement out on the floor first, keep about two to three inches between frames, and center the whole grouping at eye level.
