Is Will Rogers himself in the picture? No. This is the building that carries his name, not a portrait of the man — the tower, the clouds, and the sun, and nothing else.
Who was Will Rogers? The cowboy philosopher — a trick roper turned columnist and film star, one of the most quoted Americans of the 1920s and 30s. He never met a man he didn't like, and Fort Worth liked him right back, enough to put his name on the whole complex.
