Bathing Goddess — Female Form Art in One Blue Line by Caya Crum

Caya drew this goddess in a loose cobalt line — one confident blue thread that finds a whole figure mid-bath and sees no reason to fuss over the details. Her hair is a bright patch of orange. A solid cobalt disc hangs at her upper left — sun or moon, the goddess isn't saying — and blue plants sprout from below, a garden sketched in the same unhurried hand. All of it sits on a clean white panel, and the panel floats on a ground of hot pink streaked with orange, like the sky over a caliche road in late July.

The pose is old. Goddesses have been bathing in ancient Greek art for a few thousand years, generally in marble. Caya swapped the marble for neon and gave her a Texas sunset to soak under. The goddess appears fine with the trade.
