Peeled Banana — Pop Kitchen Art by Betsy Crum
Betsy drew one banana, peel pulled back in three flaps, in a fast pink line that wobbles where a hand wobbles, then filled it with a flat lemon yellow and dotted the skin with a few brown freckles so it reads as the kind you actually eat. The ground is a warm tan. Nothing else. It is the same rule as her can and bottle prints: pick the ordinary thing, draw it once, give it the whole page, and let the scale do the joke.

What is the print?
One banana, peeled halfway, drawn at full page size in a pink outline with a yellow fill and a little speckle of brown, on a warm tan ground. That is the whole picture.
How is it different from the other banana prints?
Banana Pop is a square Warhol-style grid. Banana Study is pen and ink. This is one big banana, drawn loose, the way you would on a napkin if the napkin were 24 inches tall.
Where does banana wall art hang?
A kitchen, a breakfast nook, a dorm, or a bathroom that needs a laugh. It is the easiest print in the shop to place.

How do I make a gallery wall with art prints?
Start with an anchor piece and build outward — many Crum Art prints are part of series designed to group together as a statement gallery wall, or hang individually as standalone pieces. Since every image is sized to fit standard frames, mixing sizes is easy: lay the arrangement out on the floor first, keep about two to three inches between frames, and center the whole grouping at eye level.
