A chestnut horse in a pink bridle, in profile against a plaid of rodeo red, pink and mustard on a turquoise ground. A sister to Plaid Pony, the white horse that went home from Christmas in Cowtown; this is the one with the ears forward.
The bright red, pink and blue of the rodeo and of spring run through this one and Caya's Bluebonnet Quilt Square original alike. Hang the two together, and put Betsy's Texas Texas Texas print between them — its stacked reds pick up the plaid and the stripes, and the wall says where it is.
