This portrait features a reoccurring horse in several of my works known as Star. Her striking pink eyes pierce the viewer and appear almost otherworldly as they are emphasized by the repeated star pattern that seems to float behind her. Her expression is calm and tranquil — her presence is comparable to that of a mythical creature such as a unicorn or other otherworldly being.
