Christmas Texas Gift

Every Texas family runs into the same December problem.

Your sister lives in Denver now. Your brother-in-law owns three smokers and claims he wants nothing. Somebody has to get a box to Ohio before the cutoff, and nobody in the group text knows that man's sweater size. A print settles all three: it is unmistakably from home, it does not need a size, and it travels flat instead of in a carton shaped like a small refrigerator.

This is the whole Texas catalog pointed at a gift list. Homesick relatives get Buc-ee's Under a Big Sky, the Dairy Queen Big Texas Sky, and the Waco Health Camp sign; city people get their own: the Dallas Pegasus, Austin Forever, Fort Worth Forever. Two pieces are outright seasonal, the Fort Worth Holiday Skate print and the Austin Holiday House, and they read as Christmas without a single reindeer. For the cook, the Ro-Tel can, Ranch Style Beans, and the Dr Pepper and Topo Chico pop-art grids. For the in-law who has everything, try Lone Star in a red cowboy hat, the Leddy boot in neon, or Willie, Townes, Stevie Ray and Dolly for whoever runs the aux cord.

Ordering for Christmas

When do I need to order to make it under the tree? Everything is made to order, so earlier is genuinely better. For deliveries inside Texas, somewhere around December 15 to 18 has usually been safe. Outside Texas, leave more room than that. We would rather say plainly that December carrier timing is unpredictable than give you a hard date and miss it — so treat those as guidance, not a promise. And if you have already blown past it, order anyway and tuck the confirmation into a card. The print catches up in January and nobody remembers.

Will they have to pay to frame it? No. Everything here fits a frame they can buy in their own town, with no custom cut and no January framing bill.

What do I get somebody who left Texas years ago? Something they had, not something they visited. A hometown landmark, the drive-in they worked at in high school, the beer their dad drank. Specific beats scenic every time.

Can I ship it straight to them? Yes. Use their address at checkout and ask us to leave the price off the packing slip.

Texas Christmas shopping, handled before the eggnog runs out: most of the prints under $100 are the easiest ones to mail, homesick Texan gifts take care of the out-of-state kin, and Texas gifts covers everybody else on the list.
