Western Art, Drawn and Painted in Fort Worth
This is western art made by one family in one studio, and has been since 1996. Every piece here started on a drawing table in Fort Worth — a cowgirl worked out in pencil, a bronc rider blocked in paint — long before it ever met a printer. If you came looking for western art with a hand behind it, this is the whole shelf.
The West isn't a theme for us; it's the family record. On Betsy Crum's father's side, the ancestors supplied General Sam Houston with horses and beef, meeting him in the Angelina Forest for the trade-off. On the other side, the family ranched and rodeoed out in Pecos as West Texas was coming into its own. Horses and cattle were daily life on both sides long before anybody in the family picked up a brush, and that is what these pictures are about.
Bold, vibrant, and unmistakably Texan. This collection brings together the most iconic imagery of the American West — powerful horses, fearless cowgirls, rodeo bronc busters, lucky horseshoes, big Texas skies, and the symbols of ranch living that never go out of style. Each print blends tradition with modern color and energy, creating western artwork that feels as fresh as it does familiar.
These are pieces with personality. Cowgirls with attitude — Caya Crum's rodeo queens, bronc riders and smoking cowgirls have a page of their own in cowgirl art. Horses in full stride. Rodeo moments frozen mid-air. Whether you're building a gallery wall in a ranch house, decorating a cabin, hunting for western posters for an office or dorm, or searching for a gift for the cowboy or cowgirl in your life — these prints bring nostalgia, authenticity, and bold design to any space.
Looking for something more specific? Shop cowboy prints, cowgirl art, horse art, and rodeo art — or head somewhere stranger with Cowboy Gothic. The hat gets passed around, too: there are cowboy cats in cat art and a smoking cowboy Cavalier in dog art.
Western art and Texas art share a fence line around here. Step over it for Texas wall art, bluebonnet art and Fort Worth art, or plan a whole room of western wall decor with Build a Gallery Wall.
Vintage Western Art and Modern Western Decor
Two roads run through this collection. The vintage western art is Carl Crum's photomontages of old Texas signs and Betsy Crum's big-sky photography and neon, vintage western prints that look pulled from a 1950s motel office. The modern western decor is Caya Crum's flat-color cowboys and cowgirls, modern western art and western pop art in pink and turquoise for a room that has never seen a wagon wheel. Both are printed to order on the same cotton rag paper; see the sun-faded side in vintage wall art and the whole house in western home decor.
Framed Western Art and Western Prints
Every western art print here comes in five sizes, 8x10 (matted to 11x14), 11x14, 16x20, 18x24 and 24x36, cut to standard frame sizes so framed western art is a ready-made frame away. The mockups show the carved gold frames we hang at shows; the prints ship flat and unframed unless noted.
Any three prints are 20% off, and you can see them hang together before you buy in the gallery wall layout generator.
Western Paintings — From the Easel to the Wall
Most of what hangs in this collection began life as a western painting or drawing — cowboys, horses, bluebonnets, and big Texas skies worked out in paint and pencil in our Fort Worth studio long before they met a printer. If you've been searching for western paintings or cowboy paintings with real brushwork behind them, this is that work — printed to order, at a fraction of what a gallery painting commands. And if only one-of-a-kind will do, a small number of original paintings are available straight from the studio.
